Vintage mid-century bench with a robust frame of solid pine (or spruce).
Recognisable by the characteristic slatted back: a brutalist, Scandinavian 'chalet' style from the 1960s and 70s.
With loose, reversible cushions in their original condition. The red corduroy is an iconic vintage upholstery fabric that was hugely popular in the 1970s for armchairs and sofas. It is characterised by soft vertical ribs (the so-called 'wales') with a velvety texture. In this particular thickness it is often called wide-wale or jumbo cord.
